Design Rationale

Seven weeks into the semester, things seem to start to come together. For example, in Tarun's short talk Thursday evening, he explained eloquently the need for rigorous rationale and how to present it, part of which echoed Hamid's urging of working on the readings for the Foundations course so that we can "speak the language." It's also reminiscent of some of the things Eric has repeated in the "Design Theory" class. When related concepts are approached from different angles or in different ways, the core of them speaks to me. This is another nice thing about the program.
